Video tutorials have been removed

The video tutorials that used to be listed here were made for Torque2D 1.x and 3.x, by GarageGames and community members, between roughly 2013 and 2015.

They have been removed rather than left in place. Almost everything they demonstrate has since changed: they build games by hand-editing XML in a modules/ folder that no longer exists, they tour the Sandbox as the way in, and they predate the Asset Manager, the Project Manager and the GUI Editor — which is to say they predate the parts of Torque2D 4.0 you would actually use. Following them today produces confusion rather than a game.

What to use instead

• Getting Started Guide — the written walkthrough, kept current.
• Building from Source — if you want to compile the engine yourself.
• GUI Guide and Gui Editor Guide — the 4.0 GUI, in script and in the editor.
• Home — the full index of engine and API guides.
