fix: inject compiled profile at session start

Summary

• log the integer candidate count without calling len()
• preserve fail-soft SessionStart behavior while allowing the generated profile context to be emitted
• add a regression test that executes the hook main path

Verification

• 3 focused surface tests pass
• Ruff passes
• deployed hook emits SessionStart JSON containing the generated profile marker
