WebDesk is a browser-based dashboard designed to serve as a permanent pinned tab for easy access to your stuff. It functions as a private foyer for the internet, organizing frequently used web applications, reminding you of birthdays and other events.
- All the websites/web services that you want to keep at hand, presented as app icons.

- Keep track of how many times you click on each app to have a better idea of which do you actually use often and which get rarely or never used.
- Knows your name and greets you according to the time of the day.
- Optional list of your own links
- Ability to export/import your data to use it in another browser, another computer, etc.
- Keeps track of how many days old you are, which is a more interesting way to see it than as just years.
- An optional "life calculator" that you can use to find out what date it was when you were X days old. Or conversely, select any past date and see how many days old you were on that date. Pointless? Maybe. Mildly interesting? Hopefully!
- A little tree at the bottom that reflects the current season.
By design, WebDesk has no backend. There are no tracking pixels, no telemetry, and no synchronization scripts. It's all kept in your browser using localStorage, so privacy isn't a promise, it's a fact (which you can confirm by looking at the code).
