I'm an Expert Software Engineer at SUSE AI and an MSc student in Knowledge Engineering and Management at UFSC, based in Florianópolis, Brazil.
I design workflows for people and AI agents, and build the infrastructure that puts AI to work. I'm interested in what surrounds the model: clear responsibilities, useful context, deliberate architecture, and evidence to decide what happens next.
At SUSE, I contribute to AI Factory, from workload deployment and Fleet integration to private application sources, and lead development of the AI Observability Extension. My background spans embedded Linux and IoT, data and ML platforms, and technical leadership.
I've led engineering teams. Today, I also design and direct AI-assisted workflows. Defining the work, providing context, and reviewing the result keep turning out to matter.
| Project | What you'll find |
|---|---|
| SUSE AI Factory | My contributions include Fleet workload delivery and private source integration. |
| SUSE AI Observability Extension | My main observability work at SUSE: turning GenAI telemetry into topology, dashboards, and health monitors. |
| SUSE AI OpenTelemetry Collector | A collector distribution I contribute to for observing AI infrastructure. |
| Hyprland configuration | My openSUSE desktop, with integrated writing, study, music, and terminal workflows. |
| smarty-pants | A local AI writing assistant for Wayland. Select text, press a shortcut, and rewrite it in place. |
My master's research explores how software-task specifications and organizational experience can guide the selection and adaptation of coding-agent models and harnesses—the tools, instructions, context, and controls around a model.
I also care about open source, digital sovereignty, software architecture, and how people keep their judgment when working with AI.

I like teaching, questioning architectural decisions, and making my Linux desktop feel just right. Occasionally, a simple idea acquires an unnecessarily elaborate word. I enjoy that more than I should.
