Introduction

Stundio (ˈstuːndio, like "stundu" in Latvian) a next-generation mobile and web experience for EduPage, engineered for students who demand performance, usability, and modern design. We transform the often rigid and outdated educational interface into a fluid, high-performance tool that works seamlessly across all devices.

Problem

EduPage is sh*t from UX experience: Everyone knows it, but nobody is fixing it. Do we need extra explaination?

The standard EduPage experience presents several friction points for students:

  • Lack of persistence: Selected groups and settings are often lost after closing the session.
  • Outdated Aesthetics: Tables and layouts are not optimized for modern mobile screens.
  • Performance: Slow load times and lack of smooth transitions hinder daily use.
  • General Complexity: Features are often cluttered, making simple schedule checks difficult.

Solution

Stundio provides a student-centric alternative by prioritizing client-side rendering and a "liquid design" philosophy.

  • Persistence: Your selected group and settings stay exactly where you left them.
  • Liquid UI: Soft layouts and smooth shapes designed for the modern eye.
  • Performance: Focused on animations and high-speed interaction.
  • Privacy & Transparency: Stundio is completely open-source. All logic is executed locally on your device; no user data is sent to our servers or used for analytics.

Features

  • Animations & UX: Fluid transitions that make the app feel alive.
  • Client-Side Processing: Optimized for speed with zero external tracking.
  • Cross-Platform: Native-feel experience on Web, iOS, and Android.
  • Student-Only Focus: Tailored specifically for the needs of students without redundant teacher-side logic.

Philosophy

Our core belief is simple: Make from students for students. We aim to eliminate the daily frustration caused by inefficient tools. Stundio is built to be fast, simple, and reliable, avoiding unnecessary complexity while maintaining a focus on user empowerment.

About Founder

Founded by Dmytro Polizhai, a Software Development student at Rigas Valsts Tehnikums (RVT). After experiencing the limitations of existing platforms during his studies, Dmytro assembled a team to build a product from the ground up that prioritizes quality and the actual needs of the student body.

Feedback & Contribution

We believe in the power of "free hands." Stundio is a community-driven project and we welcome contributors who want to help students stop suffering from poor UX.

  • Bug Reports & Suggestions: Please open an entry in our Issues section.
  • General Discussion: Join the conversation in the Discussions tab.
  • Development: Pull requests are always welcome. Help us bring Stundio to the Play Store and App Store.
