Hi, I’m Shourya 👋
I build intelligent, scalable systems at the intersection of machine learning and software engineering.
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science at NC State, where I work on climate-driven infrastructure modeling and decision-focused ML systems. Previously, I worked as a Software Development Engineer at Microchip Technology, leading development of high-performance web applications and real-time backend systems.
🚧 Currently building a Spoiler-Safe Movie Q&A browser extension — a tool that lets viewers ask questions about a movie without getting future plot spoilers. I started this because I often watch movies in parts and wanted a safer way to understand scenes without ruining the story.
The current prototype works with YouTube transcripts, and the goal is to extend it to Netflix and other streaming platforms to enable spoiler-safe viewing everywhere.
