MultiSearch

Run multiple searches at once

MultiSearch is a small, simple tool that runs multiple simultaneous text searches, highlighting results in distinct colors to reveal their locations throughout the entire document.

  • Unlimited simultaneous searches
  • Case-insensitive and accents ignored
  • Splits multiple lines into separate searches
  • Toggle search visibility on or off
  • Customizable colors for each search
  • Minimap showing position of each result
  • Light and dark modes
  • Works well with large amounts of text
  • No tracking and no data sent anywhere
  • No dependencies
  • Save and run locally without internet
  • Free to use with no restrictions (even the code)

MultiSearch was developed to fill a specific gap in digital archives: the inability to run multiple searches simultaneously. While most online readers restrict users to a single keyword, this tool allows for the input of entire texts (historical books or anything else) and searching for multiple words or phrases at once and determine their proximity.

This tool was developed entirely with Claude. Because it was built with AI, the underlying code or logic may not always follow the most efficient or optimized methods.
