SPEED is a simple tool for measuring system performance. SPEED performs tests which are similar to the kind of operations that ordinary programs use.

Processor This performs a series of mathematical tasks which are broken down into three indexes:
- Standard
- Floating Point
- Scientific
Drive This compares the read and write rates of a drive and displays the two as seperate indexes.
Video Measures the speed of the video hardware, in both text and graphics modes.
