This repo contains electronics schematics and PCB files for the input device added to the PipBoy 2000 mk4. The circuit is a simple I/O expander over i2c using an MCP23017. The 8 bank A bits are used internally for the buttons, encoder and LED, all 8 bank B bits are made available as pin headers for any external GPIO.
The board is intended to be mounted inside the geiger module and was measured for a neat fit inside the PipBoy 2000 mk4 kit produced by The Wand Company.
