PlayFusion Themes

Community themes for PlayFusion, with compatibility support for older Kazeta+ theme packages.

Theme downloads

PlayFusion 1.0.3 and newer can read catalog.json directly from Theme Manager. The first catalog release contains:

• Xbox Original (PlayFusion Optimized) — optimized video-based dashboard, matching system-folder art, menu sounds, music, font, logo, and themed boot animation.
• Xbox 2.0 — resolution-independent native background with matching system-folder art, menu sounds, music, font, logo, and themed boot animation.

Download packages from the repository's latest release.

Install from USB

1. Format a USB drive as FAT32, exFAT, or another Linux-readable filesystem.
2. Create a folder named themes at the root of the drive.
3. Copy one or more theme ZIP files into themes without extracting them.
4. Insert the drive, open Extras > Theme Manager, and choose Install Themes from USB.
5. Select the installed theme and apply it. Use Reset to PlayFusion Default to return to the stock appearance.

Create a theme

See THEME-FORMAT.md for the ZIP layout, supported files, and compatibility rules. A valid archive contains exactly one top-level theme folder with a theme.toml file inside it.

Themes made for the Kazeta+ theme repository remain supported. PlayFusion-only fields such as profile badge placement, system-folder artwork, and boot animation are optional and are ignored by older software.

Theme authors are responsible for having permission to distribute their included art, audio, video, fonts, and other assets. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
