Closing per the policy that landed in #281 (after this PR was cut): @types/node tracks the oldest Node we support (engines.node: >=22), not the newest release. Types above that floor let a call added in Node 23–26 typecheck cleanly and then throw on the runtime we ship for — nothing else refuses the build. The CI failure here is scripts/types-track-supported-runtime.test.ts rejecting exactly this bump, by design.

The dependabot config already ignores @types/node majors, but since this PR was still opened, adding the belt-and-suspenders ignore via command as well. Raising the floor to Node 26 would be a deliberate support decision: bump engines.node and the types together in one PR.
