📋 Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following installed:

  • Node.js (version 18.x or higher)
  • npm or yarn
  • Git

🛠️ Installation & Setup

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/omkar2816/engineering-era.git
cd engineering-era

2. Install Dependencies

npm install

3. Environment Setup

Create a .env.local file in the root directory and add your Supabase credentials:

VITE_SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_project_url
VITE_SUPABASE_ANON_KEY=your_supabase_anon_key

4. Start Development Server

npm run dev

The application will be available at http://localhost:5173

For Students

  1. Register/Login: Create an account or sign in
  2. Browse Courses: Explore available engineering courses
  3. Enroll: Click on departments to access course content
  4. Track Progress: Monitor your learning progress
  5. Access Resources: Download notes, viva questions, and materials

For Instructors

  1. Create Account: Register as an instructor
  2. Access Dashboard: Manage courses and students
  3. Upload Content: Add videos, notes, and resources
  4. Monitor Progress: Track student engagement
  5. Generate Reports: View analytics and insights
