Give external (non-Observe) contributors lightweight guidance: open an issue before non-trivial changes so we can align on approach, and use Conventional Commits for messages. Kept to a short README section rather than a standalone CONTRIBUTING.md to avoid duplicating the existing Development section. Made-with: Cursor
