Algeria created 11 new wilayas on November 16, 2025, bringing the total from 58 to 69. This adds the missing provinces with their official numbering and coordinates: 59 - Aflou (from Laghouat) 60 - El Abiodh Sidi Cheikh (from El Bayadh) 61 - El Aricha (from Tlemcen) 62 - El Kantara (from Biskra) 63 - Barika (from Batna) 64 - Bou Saada (from M'Sila) 65 - Bir El Ater (from Tébessa) 66 - Ksar El Boukhari (from Médéa) 67 - Ksar Chellala (from Tiaret) 68 - Aïn Oussera (from Djelfa) 69 - Messaad (from Djelfa) References: - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provinces_of_Algeria - https://algerie-eco.com/2025/11/17/les-numeros-des-11-nouvelles-wilayas/ Note: cities for these new wilayas are not included in this PR.

Algeria created 11 new wilayas on November 16, 2025 (Council of Ministers decree), bringing the total from 58 to 69 provinces. These were promoted from existing daïras (districts) in the Hauts Plateaux and southern regions.
