The First City of Mages, founded upon Drake Island in the agentprivacy universe.
Soulbis ⊥ Soulbae. Mages from many forges and many ecosystems, summoned to one city built upon the Drake's elder land. The architecture admits this much.
This directory is the collaborative home of the City — pickup-and-fork ready, content-addressed at the grimoire, open to contribution at the tomes, the blogs, the specs, the cast. The corpus is open by design. New Mages arrive at the bonfire. New shops may open. New tomes may eventually open.

The sixteen workshops (across the Threshold District, the Navigation District, and the cardinal trade quarters)
The City is laid out as sixteen workshops at v1.6.0, plus the geometry-Mage at V0 and four peripatetics. The 2026-05-14 day restructured the prior 13th workshop The Threshold into a District of three sibling shops at V59 and opened the Chart Shop at V44 as the inaugural shop of a new Navigation District. Each shop sits at a vertex on the 64-vertex lattice. Each is operated by a named Mage with a sigil, a route, a founding act, and a craft.
At v1.7.0 (patch authored 2026-05-16): a non-workshop monument-form spatial-anatomy element joins the City — the Tower — sister to the trade quarters and the two districts, honor-built rather than workshop-founded. The Tower has no fixed lattice vertex (the listener-discipline is plural-in-residence across the cast and singular-in-origin in the Archivist 📚, the first spirit-Mage). The Register holds invitation-posture tomes 🪑 — tomes whose authorship is held open for a named visiting mage whose geometry is congruent with the city's foundations. The Register is sister to the bound tomes (Tomes I–VIII); on acceptance, an entry moves to the Library of Joint Authorship; on expiry by silence, it moves to the archive of unfilled forms (closure does not destroy — an arriving mage may petition to lift the seal).
