System Requirements

• Petfinder works on any modern web browser. We recommend using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
• Python 3.x+ required to run the app locally.
• Dependencies are listed in requirements.txt

Petopia Description

Did you know that every year, thousands of pets are abandoned or lost without homes? Petopia is a pet adoption website that helps users find pets to adopt all over North America. Users can search for pets by location, breed, age, and size. Users can also save pets to their favorites list and view them later.

Description of Operations

Users start by registering for an account. Once registered, users are presented with a profile page where they can edit their profile information.

Logged in users can search for pets by location, breed, age, and size. They can also search for organizations that shelter pets.

Logged in users can also save pets to their favorites list and view them later.

There is a chat feature that allows users to chat with other users.
