The proposed changes also make the Getting Started instructions for every OS more intuitive and user-friendly (now makes use of Visual Studio Code's local cloning GUI).

Installation instructions for Windows are updated accordingly (MYSYS instead of chocolatey).

Notes for anyone who would want to try using this:
If you come from AMAOed 2022 module instructions, the MinGW setup instructed there has a bug in Windows. Its gdb debugger doesn't work (even after painstakingly correcting the paths in .vscode settings).

To fix this, you will need the new .vscode settings proposed here as well as to install the fixed g++, gcc, and gdb versions as per instructed in the new README for windows.
