This repository contains supplemental Python functions for global-scale atmospheric teleconnections, that contains

  • Reading ERA5 NetCDF files
  • Performing Maximum Covariance Analysis (MCA) to calculate spatial patterns and temporal coefficients
  • Applying linear detrending to temporal coefficients
  • Conducting point-wise Pearson correlations to establish connections
  • Plotting
