🛡️ Sentinel: [MEDIUM] Add ReadHeaderTimeout to http.Server#12euxaristia wants to merge 1 commit into
Conversation
Added `ReadHeaderTimeout: 10 * time.Second` to all `http.Server` instances in the codebase. This prevents Slowloris attacks (CWE-400) and resolves `gosec G112` warnings. Added a Sentinel journal entry in `.jules/sentinel.md` documenting this security learning. Co-authored-by: euxaristia <25621994+euxaristia@users.noreply.github.com>

Otherwise, wait until the next included review is available. How can I continue? After more reviews become available, a review can be triggered using the To avoid repeated limits, reduce automatic review volume by pausing incremental auto-reviews earlier, using label-based review opt-in, excluding WIP or generated PR titles, or requesting reviews manually when the PR is ready. If your team needs uninterrupted high-volume reviews, an organization admin can enable usage-based reviews. How do review limits work?CodeRabbit enforces per-developer PR review limits for each organization. Most developers receive the normal plan review availability. For paid Pro and Pro+ PR reviews, CodeRabbit uses adaptive limits for sustained high-volume activity. When a developer's recent PR review activity reaches the 95th percentile or higher among CodeRabbit users, additional reviews become available more gradually as earlier reviews age out of the rolling window. 🚨 Severity: MEDIUM
💡 Vulnerability: Multiple
http.Serverinstances were found without a configuredReadHeaderTimeout. This is flagged bygosecas G112 and is a known vector for Slowloris (CWE-400) vulnerabilities.🎯 Impact: An attacker could exhaust server resources by opening connections and sending HTTP request headers exceedingly slowly, potentially leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected endpoints.
🔧 Fix: Added
ReadHeaderTimeout: 10 * time.Secondto allhttp.Serverinitializations (internal/mcp/oauth.go,internal/oauth/loopback.go,internal/provideroauth/openrouter.go,internal/tools/bash_tool_test.go).✅ Verification: Verified by re-running the test suite (
