@enoche I've just integrated the MMGCF (a recent model accepted at UMAP 26) implementation within the MMRec framework.
The key intuition of this work is that higher complexity does not necessarily leads to dramatic performance improvement. Instead, simpler model with well-tuned parameters and branches can still perform quite well without dramatically increasing model complexity. Hope this can give more attention to the efficiency topic in the multimodal recommendation research!
