The refactoring correctly removes the passed property and inlines the logic at both call sites. The logic equivalence is maintained: not check.passed → check.earned < check.points and check.passed → check.earned >= check.points. No defects found.
You can now have the agent implement changes and create commits directly on your pull request's source branch. Simply comment with /q followed by your request in natural language to ask the agent to make changes.
🎯 What: Removed the
passedproperty from theCheckdataclass and inlined the logic (check.earned >= check.points) at its call sites.💡 Why: The property was incorrectly identified as a code health issue (unused property) when it could be inlined to simplify the Check class slightly. This reduces class footprint and avoids property dispatch overhead, making the code more readable by explicitly showing the condition where the logic runs.
✅ Verification: Verified by checking that tests (pytest tests/test_arxiv_strict_review.py) still pass successfully and the pylint score increased marginally.
✨ Result: A cleaner
Checkclass that directly expresses its logic within the report generation context.PR created automatically by Jules for task 10133861963415777262 started by @edithatogo
