Simple cruise control mod for vehicles in 7 Days to Die.
Adds an auto gas feature for cars and other vehicles. Press a button and the throttle stays on by itself, so you dont have to hold the gas button on long drives across the map.
Get in the drivers seat, press the autogas button and the vehicle keeps moving on its own at the throttle level you had when you turned it on. If you had full gas pressed, it will drive at max speed. If you were using a gamepad and only pushed the stick halfway, it will remember that speed and hold it.
Autogas turns off automatically if you:
- hit the brake or handbrake
- shift into reverse
- get out of the vehicle
Manual gas input always takes priority. You can press forward at any time to override the speed and autogas will pick up the new value right away.
Extract the mod folder into the Mods directory of the game. Standard procedure for 7 Days to Die mods.
By default autogas is toggled with the middle mouse button (scroll wheel click). You can change the key in game:
Options -> Controls -> Vehicle -> AutoGasToggle
Works with keyboard and mouse as well as with a gamepad.
7 Days to Die with mod support (Harmony). No extra installation needed, all dependencies already come with the game.
