…ous actions Add blog post documenting the progressive promotion model: Skill → Determinism → MCP Tool → Agent → CI/CD Includes: - 4 mermaid diagram source files (watercolor theme) - 5 watercolor image prompts for the pink-haired girl series - Copilot CLI autonomous execution patterns - Industry validation (Anthropic, SAE J3016, SRE, MCP Skills WG) - Cost model across promotion stages Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>
Makes the core narrative visually explicit: scripts started embedded inside skills (trapped), then were extracted and moved behind an MCP tool where agents, CI, and other skills can call them. Tightens the Phase C wrong/right diagram labels to reinforce the ownership shift. …earned promotion A skill is natural language on purpose so domain and process experts (including non-technical ones) can own the workflow before it becomes code. Determinism and autonomy are earned only after repeated correct outcomes validate the flow, not chosen on day one. Rewrites the article in a calmer first-person voice. Drops fear/stakes framing (dead ends, trapped, the mistake), consequentialist flourishes, and hype around savings while keeping all token/cost numbers and technical detail intact. Renames dramatic headings to plain descriptive ones. Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com> Copilot-Session: be954476-bbe5-4930-9d40-68ead165b023
…tomation Shifts the article's spine from developer cost-optimization to process and domain capture. The natural-language skill is how a domain or process expert articulates and controls their own workflow; the promotion ladder is the maturing path, gated by repeated correct outcomes, with ownership staying with the person who understands the process. Cost and reuse become supporting evidence rather than the main message. Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com> Copilot-Session: be954476-bbe5-4930-9d40-68ead165b023
The goal is to empower people where AI can save them time while they keep ownership of their work and decisions. Adds a section explaining how the automation tradeoff shifted: it used to be business value versus engineering effort to build automation; now it is about recouping the expert's time while they hone the workflow, after which proven processes become cheap to automate. …to specifics Reorders the post from general to specific so it opens with what this offers anyone in an organization (capture your expertise, keep ownership, get a path to automation) and the changed automation economics, before narrowing into the four layers, the maturing path, and the deeper technical detail (MCP, caching, CLI, sandbox). Explains each concept as it gets more specific. All diagrams, code blocks, tables, numbers, and images preserved. … post - Rewrite opening with concrete problem hook - Convert passive to active voice throughout - Replace abstract language with concrete benefits - Simplify tables and remove verbose prompts - Tighten sentences for better readability - Add second-person voice to increase ownership Closes #4 Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>
Replace indirect introduction with concrete problem statement: - Opens with relatable blocker (automation requires engineering) - Explains the tradeoff (lose control or wait for developers) - Promises the solution (progressive promotion with ownership) - Ties back to core thesis (expertise → skill → tool → agent) Makes the value proposition immediately clear to readers. Closes #4 Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>
…xternal system' Seven instances clarified: - Line 68: 'which tool' → 'which MCP tool' (table) - Line 71: 'which tools' → 'which MCP tools' (text) - Line 74: 'a future tool' → 'an external system' - Line 158: 'tool calls' → 'API calls' - Line 171: 'can call too' → 'can call it too' - Line 183: 'future tool' → 'external system' - Line 257: 'future tool' → 'external system' Ensures consistent use of 'MCP tool' for the typed interface and 'external system' for future integrations, avoiding ambiguity with bare 'tool' references.
