An Item that stores and versions an XML marshalled (source:src/main/resources/mapFiles/LifeCycleMap.xml) ElementaryActivityDef object (source:src/main/java/com/c2kernel/lifecycle/ActivityDef.java) as an outcome. This Item will be referenced by a CompositeActivityDef, and when that is included in the workflow definition of an Item Description, will contribute an Activity (source:src/main/java/com/c2kernel/lifecycle/instance/Activity.java) to Items instantiated from that Item Description
