The shapefile is in cityshapefile.

Download the required raster files from payneinstitute and ornl website.

Use the multiprocessing alogorithm written in landscan_zonalstat_mprocessing and ntl_zonalstat_mprocessing_VIIRS_modified to extract 1km*1km spatial polygon level nighttime light.

Also run ntl_zonalstat_city to extract the nighttime light emission and population at the citylevel.

Run the R code to compute inequality.
