Hi, I'm Michał

Senior PHP backend and platform engineer based in the Gdańsk area, Poland. Nearly 20 years of working on backend systems, integrations, and delivery automation — mostly in product companies, mostly with Symfony, and increasingly with Kubernetes.

Over time I've drifted from pure backend work into platform territory: Helm chart development (including a custom chart generator), Flux-based GitOps, Istio networking, CI/CD pipelines, runtime diagnostics, and production support. I enjoy working at that intersection.

Currently Technical Lead at EASI'R, looking after backend architecture, Kubernetes workloads, and release automation.

  • Backend — PHP, Symfony, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, RabbitMQ, Kafka
  • Delivery — Kubernetes, Helm, Flux, Istio, Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS, Linux
  • Practices — DDD, TDD, architecture modernization, legacy-to-Symfony migrations

I'm a registered PHP internals member with voting rights on language RFCs and an active php.net developer profile. I follow PHP's evolution closely and care about where the language is heading.

Open to work

I'm looking for a new backend, integration, or platform-adjacent engineering role. Remote-friendly. Prefer teams that care about delivery quality, maintainability, and getting things done without unnecessary overhead.
