💡 What: Replaced O(N) array lookups (pins.find) inside useMemo hooks with O(1) Map lookups by introducing a memoized pinsById Map using a for...of loop. Retained array lookups in external bindings (window.__MAP_APP_TEST) to avoid stale closures.
🎯 Why: Iterating over potentially large array of pins using .find inside .map and other useMemo hooks results in O(N*M) time complexity, potentially blocking the main thread during React renders. Using a dictionary (Map) reduces lookup time to O(1).
📊 Impact: Reduces array scan overhead by switching from O(N) to O(1) time complexity for selected pin and route stops derivations, keeping main thread unblocked as pin count scales.
🔬 Measurement: Verify rendering performance and ensuring window.__MAP_APP_TEST still resolves correctly via automated tests.
