Aggregates 4 feature PRs (#57, #58, #60, #61) + compliance PRs (#66, #67, #68) + 4 superseded PRs (#62-#65). Closes COW-1078, COW-1082, COW-1083, COW-1084, COW-1085, COW-1086. Supersedes PR #72.
