Hi, I'm Armando 👋

I'm a Sports Data Scientist and Full Stack Engineer based in Pordenone, Italy.

My main focus is football analytics. I recently co-developed Contextual Football Scouting, a live platform powered by UEFA Euro 2024 StatsBomb 360° data covering 200+ players across the competition. Built entirely from scratch, the dashboard models, indexes, and makes searchable key metrics such as space control, decision quality, and off-ball movement.

During the day I work as a Full Stack Engineer at Eye-Tech, where I deal with everything from database schema to developing webapps, including the officail website for the 2027 Youth Olympics.

Before that, I spent time at Vimar SpA building NLP and RAG systems, and did a technical scouting analysis for Girona FC.

I'm also wrapping up a CS degree at the University of Padova and a Postgraduate in Sports Analytics at Barça Innovation Hub at the same time; I had one exam left at UNIPD and figured I'd make the overlap work in my favour.

When I'm not in front of a screen: calisthenics, football, and movies I half-watch while thinking about the next project.
