Google surfaces a re-upload of this source above the real repo. Give the README a descriptive H1 and an FAQ covering what people actually search for, and point readers at the signed download paths, since the copy's download button serves a Windows executable. abdo3063/WinMicecurrently outranks this repo on Google for "winmice". Its download button points atSources/WinMice/Settings/Panes/Mice_Win_3.8.zip, which containsApplication.cmd,cert.txt, andutil.exe— a Windows payload, not a macOS app.This does two things:
WinMice, which says nothing to a search engine. It now names what the app does, and a new FAQ answers the questions people actually type: whether macOS has autoscroll, whether side buttons work without extra software, how this compares to AutoScroll and Sensible Side Buttons, and why Accessibility is required. One entry also disambiguates from WinMICE, the statistics tool, which dominates the current results..execlaiming to be an installer is not from here.Repo topics and description were updated separately through the GitHub API.
