At its core, the TreePLE system allows a user to manage trees in an urban environment. It also enables calculation of important sustainability attributes and the creation of forecasts for what-if scenarios.
The system features a backend service for the main business logic, developed in Java using the Spring framework, with an PostgreSQL database operating as the persistence layer.
This backend is integrated with both a native Android and Web-based frontend to enable users to interact with the system.
