The Vision: An Autonomous Company

What if your entire company could run as AI agents? πŸ‡

YeeHaw provides a complete organizational workforce β€” 12 departments, ~99 agents, a shared company knowledge base, and business skills β€” all orchestrated through Claude Code.

Every agent reads and writes to a shared company/ directory that serves as the company's operating data. Agents draft emails via Gmail, schedule meetings via Google Calendar, research markets via web search, and coordinate across departments through structured handoffs.

Humans stay in control through approval gates β€” agents draft, analyze, recommend, and prepare, but humans approve anything that goes external or involves money.

Quick Start

One-Line Install

curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Yeehaw-team/YeeHaw/main/setup-agents.sh | bash

Manual Installation

git clone https://github.com/Yeehaw-team/YeeHaw.git
cd yeehaw
./setup-agents.sh # Saddle up! πŸ‡

The setup script will:

  • Ask for installation location: Project or Global
  • Ask which departments to install (or all)
  • Create all agent files in .claude/agents/[department]/
  • Create the company/ knowledge base directory structure
  • Create 10 skills (/yeehaw, /crm, /reporting, /automation, /handoff, /validate, /status, /react, /docker, /python)
  • Set up CLAUDE.md with company operating system conventions
  • Back up any existing configuration

Then start Claude Code:

claude

First thing to run:

/yeehaw # Answer 10 questions, seeds your entire company knowledge base
/status # See your company dashboard

Company Knowledge Base

All agents share a company/ directory as the company's live operating data:

company/
β”œβ”€β”€ crm/ # Contacts, deals, pipeline, proposals
β”œβ”€β”€ finance/ # Transactions, invoices, budgets, P&L, cash flow
β”œβ”€β”€ content/ # Blog, social, newsletter, communications
β”œβ”€β”€ marketing/ # Campaigns, analytics, SEO
β”œβ”€β”€ customers/ # Accounts, tickets, feedback, health scores
β”œβ”€β”€ strategy/ # OKRs, decisions, projects, weekly status
β”œβ”€β”€ operations/ # SOPs, vendors, legal, quality, automations
β”œβ”€β”€ research/ # Market research, competitive intel
β”œβ”€β”€ hr/ # Recruiting, policies, training
β”œβ”€β”€ data/ # Dashboards, models, reports
β”œβ”€β”€ risk/ # Risk register, assessments, incidents
└── executive/ # Board materials, internal communications

This is NOT documentation β€” it's live data. Agents read and write these files as their "database."

  • Update internal knowledge base
  • Create plans and recommendations
  • Run internal analysis

Agents NEED human approval for:

  • Sending emails or external communications
  • Processing payments or invoicing
  • Signing contracts or commitments
  • Publishing content publicly
  • Deploying code to production
  • Hiring or termination decisions

Interactive Learning Deck

Learn the YeeHaw approach:

cd learn
npm install
npm run dev

Navigate with arrow keys. Covers all departments, workflows, and collaboration patterns.

The Worker-Governance Pattern

Based on the Worker-Governance Pattern originally defined in Agentic Engineering by CIIGN LLC.

Every department maintains a balance between:

  • Worker Agents (Sensing) β€” Execute tasks, produce deliverables, do the work
  • Governance Agents (Intuition + Thinking + Feeling) β€” Set direction, validate quality, ensure alignment

This pattern, based on Carl Jung's cognitive functions, ensures:

  • Vision without losing touch with reality
  • Quality without perfectionism paralysis
  • Execution with strategic direction
  • Neither side dominates β€” equal collaboration

See TEAM_ARCHITECTURE.md for detailed department dynamics and collaboration patterns.

See EXAMPLES.md for comprehensive, step-by-step usage examples across every department.
