  • Added video clips to recipe direction steps. Attach a video to any direction step using the WordPress Media Library, with square preview thumbnails in the admin and 16:9 responsive video output on the frontend.
  • Responsive admin layout improvements.
  • Increased direction textarea height.
  • Meta box title changed from "Settings" to "Cooked Settings".
  • Dark Mode setting now supports Off, On, and Auto. Auto follows theme dark mode toggles, with dedicated Pixwell compatibility (admin notice and settings tip when Pixwell's dark mode is enabled).
  • Fixed the Recipe Category widget "Hide Empty" option, and Recipe Search widget "Hide Browse" / "Hide Sorting" options not saving.
  • Fixed settings "Save" button alignment.
  • Added a Default Recipe Image option in settings, used as the featured image for recipes that do not have one set.
  • Added a "Show Website Logo" option to the Print View settings. When enabled, the site logo (or site name) appears at the top of the recipe print screen.
