Hi Dan,

Many thanks for working on this Node 24 compatibility update!

Could we add a comment in the YAML file explaining why FORCE_JAVASCRIPT_ACTIONS_TO_NODE24 is needed? It would be good to document that it's a workaround for pre-commit/action not being updated yet.

Also, since pre-commit/action is in maintenance mode, could you open an issue to track migrating to a better-maintained solution in the future?
