🔄 Drift Detected: The architecture transitioned from using Pub/Sub to HTTP polling (/api/jobs/claim-sim) for worker task distribution, as documented in 2026-04-15-worker-polling-migration.md and .jules/scribe.md, but several core architectural documents still referenced Pub/Sub.

📄 Docs Updated:

  • docs/MODE_SETUP.md: Updated mode descriptions, feature matrix, and troubleshooting steps to reflect HTTP Polling.
  • docs/SECRETS_SETUP.md: Removed Pub/Sub roles and subscription environment variables from the Secret Manager and IAM steps.
  • docs/DEPLOYMENT.md: Removed PUBSUB_SUBSCRIPTION from the config table and updated the worker description to poll the API.
  • docs/STALE_SWEEPER.md: Clarified that recovery triggers re-aggregation without re-publishing to Pub/Sub.
  • docs/ARCHITECTURE_ISSUES.md: Updated error analysis descriptions to reference generic polling/retries instead of Pub/Sub redelivery.

💎 Note for Showcase: No new links need to be added to the README, as these are updates to existing documentation files.
