java 17 is currently available and 18/19 are in preview. Remove 1.7/1.8 due to name conflicts. Java 1.7/7 is still supported by Oracle (through July 2022). 1.8/8 is unsupported since 2019.

Well since all the changes in this fork have been implemented upstream, this PR should definitely also be make upstream now |
Java 1.8 is supported by Oracle until 2030 I think, because way too many people use it. I do not think it should be removed. Perhaps it chould be changes to be called Java8 rather than Java18 or something. |
