  And with over 1.4 million notes per second at its peak.

This is the biggest project I've ever been a part of, with 15 contributors, and over 400 supporters in the community. Collectively, we have definitely spent thousands of hours on this, and we have created something truly amazing. This is a project we can all be proud of, from the people who had a hand in basically every part of it, to those who just made suggestions in ⁠feedback. This may have been the biggest project that the Black MIDI Community has ever done.

Thanks so much to @everyone who made this community what it is. Although I don't plan on leading any projects like this in the future, I am certain that I will contribute towards any new MIDIs that this community decides to create. This community is far too talented and special to be finished after only one project.

Beta 12 Revision 5

Welp... @α Jim wants to make improvements too lol. :revision: 5 here we come

Initially released: 2021-01-17

And now for the actual very last revision before the final update: Unify :beta: 12 :revision: 5!!!

• @α Jim made a bunch of revisions in many places
• @lucas9810 made a bunch of revisions in many more places
• we removed all the bad memes which aged terribly. Don't be sad because its happened, be glad because it's over.
• I did tons of balancing
• I added some extra stuff to Voyage 1969
• I made tiny improvements to the note are in the song that is almost Death Waltz but actually isn't (can't remember the name of it)
• We fixed some broken funnels
• We did other stuff
• We added back all the pitch bends that we accidentally deleted
• We made 9Kx2 sound better
• I got held up by university which is why this update is so late, sorry guys!
• Legit though... I don't actually remember half the changes I made to this since it's been so long

Beta 12 Revision 4

Initially released: 2020-06-29

Ok... this is the last revision before we release the final version of Unify!

Welcome to :beta: 12 :revision: 4!

Here's what changed:

• @29FroilanJR revised Last Summer and it's far better now
• @Eddywaltz.flp made a ton of improvements to everything
• I made improvements to the improvements
• I made more improvements to the improvements

Just trust me... it's better now.

Beta 12 Revision 3

Initially released: 2020-05-19

Unify Beta 12 Revision 3: The "EddyWaltz is Pedantic" Update has arrived.

This would have given @Eddywaltz.flp the Great Contributor Role, but he already has it, so ummmm...

This update has 15 181 325 notes on 119 Tracks, spread over 16 minutes, 43 seconds.

The changes are as follows:

• Added a tiny bit more note art to Kobito
• Did a few chord fixes and strengthened the bass line in Night of Nights
• Rebalanced the crash point in Night of Nights so it sounds even more crazy
• Did a HUGE revamp of UN Owen Was Her; it sounds so much better now!
• Softened the start of RST
• Hid Coffin Dance in RST (hopefully when the meme dies people will think it's just a normal counter melody because otheriwse it will age terribly) ((This is the fault of the people I was chatting with during the livestream, don't blame me))
• Added a downer sound to the second silent beat in 9Kx2
• Debuffed the EotS crash a tiny bit, and fixed some chopped funnels.
• Changed up the echo after the EotS crash a little.
• Added a tiny bit more fill to Voyage 1969
• Changed the volumes of some drums in Insane
• Fixed some chords in Blue Sky
• Added Ouranos as a counter melody in the Finale (and accidentally removed the Bad Apple counter melody)
• Added another Bad Apple counter melody to compensate (Sorry @HATTER 😢)
• Made more bass in the Finale, and doubled up the melody
• Got the crash to a strength worthy of the final crash of a 15 million note MIDI

Unify is just-about ready to release; We're just waiting on a revamp of Last Summer from @29FroilanJR , which will be Beta 12 Revision 4, as well as some last-minute fixes (⁠feedback everyone), and then we can do the final release with credits!

Beta 12 Revision 2

Initially released: 2020-04-07

Introducing: Unify :beta:12 :revision:2: The @lucas9810 is pedantic update.

In this update, I fixed most of the issues that Lucas sent in ⁠feedback, and added some other things at the suggestion of the people who watched my livestreams where I worked on Unify. This update has about 14.9 Million Notes.

Here's the full changelog:

• Updated the revision numbers
• Fixed some poorly chopped funnels in Bad Apple
• Made the Bad Apple drums less repetitive
• Didn't bring back the note art from :beta:1: it doesn't fit the context of the MIDI. I added it somewhere else.
• Fixed some bad-sounding pitchbends in 9Kx2
• Chopped the Unify note art in Fractal Images
• Fixed a lot of bad-sounding chords in Voyage 1969 (which people probably won't hear because the EotS crash is wayyyy too powerful
• Shortened the transition to Insane a little bit
• Rebalanced Last Summer a lot
• Fixed the heavily dissonant chords in the Finale
• Added Megalovania (I'm sorry)
  Also because of his amazing contributions, Lucas is now a Great Contributor!

Beta 12 Revision 1

Initially released: 2020-03-07

After over a year, the next update for Unify, :beta: 12 :revision: 1 has been completed!

Sorry for the long break; I was really busy with school and then other life issues.
Anyways, here's the list of changes:

• The note art for Septette for the Dead Princess has been added back! (I honestly don't even know why this was removed)

• There is also a small crash point at the end of it now, which will hurt low end PCs a little bit

• Some flams have been added to the intro to make it more interesting to listen to. One of these needs a little bit of editing

• A few pedal issues have been fixed along with some broken pitch bends

• NEW: A Finale based off the Intro melody has been added. Thanks so much, @HATTER, @Eddywaltz.flp , @Deleted User , @Kaede, and @knock for all the work you guys put into this! You all will shortly be given the Great Contributor role for your dedication.

• I used note art from other parts of the MIDI to bring a sense of (wait for the pun) unity to the conclusion.

• There's a medium-sized crash point at the end of this that I plan on beefing up in the next update.

This will probably be the last major release until the final update! Get hyped!

• Added "Blue Sky", which was originally a composition by @Evr! . The arrangement was done by @Kaede and @> HDSQ <

• Septette for the Dead Princess was fixed, but half the note art got removed for some reason :thoink~1:
• Some other part was fixed, but I can't remember what

All the fixes were done by @Kaede from what I can remember. I'd give him the Great Contributor role but he already has it...

Beta 10 Revision 1

Initially released: 2019-01-06

Unify :beta: 10 :revision: 1 is finally here!!!

The "Delayed" Update™

Changes:

• @Deleted User completely redid 9Kx2 from scratch and its even better than before (which we all thought was impossible)
• @HATTER made some "U"s for The Destroyer (because in the original there is "X"s, hahaha geddit?)
• @> HDSQ < fixed some funnels in Bad Apple
• When @> HDSQ < exported the MIDI and proof listened, they found a heap of audio issues. They subsequently spent >8 hours removing 22.8 KB of pan events from random points in the MIDI. We are still unsure how they got there in the first place.
• Also fixed the pedal issues
