Hi there 👋

I'm Samson Mercier, a PhD student at MIT. I am part of the Disruptive Planets group, led by Prof. Julien de Wit.

  • I'm interested in using and improving techniques for mapping stars ✨ and planets 🪐
  • I help maintain and develop the open-source code such as ANTARESS, a high-resolution spectroscopy toolblox 🪛, and SAJAX, a code to model the light curve of active stars
  • I also participate in the operation of the SPECULOOS telescopes 🔭
