Hmm in my 1.8.9 version I had this setup individually for both effect name and duration. I feel it would be better to have this applied to global and per effect/effect-type rules In addition how does this fair against resource packs that could use formatting codes or even reset the formatting codes on the effect name? |

It's probably better to use components rather than legacy formatting codes, that way e.g. a resource pack resetting formatting would just reset it to the style we set. |

Description
bold and italic didn't work on potion effect text when using the Minecraft font. this fixes both and keeps italic text aligned with the icons.
