some comments on technical details to do with the day

  • if people can't install git, note there are two solutions. 1) you can commit/etc from SageMathCloud. 2) you can actually commit from the Github interface itself (and also add files!)

  • SMC has a bug - https://github.com/sagemath/cloud/issues/151 - where a file needs to be deleted in order to reload an ipython notebook updated from OUTSIDE the SMC interface. this is annoying.

  • maybe everyone will also have to grab a copy of Sublime (either install or portable)
