The alertmanager runs as a single replica on Render's starter plan; it has no peers to gossip with. Without an explicit bind address Mimir listens for memberlist traffic on every interface and Render's TCP health probes hit it, spamming the logs with "unknown message type" errors that obscure real failures. Bind explicitly to 127.0.0.1 so probes never reach the memberlist port; remove this stanza if numInstances is ever raised above 1.
