I would like to request that MailFathom be added to this list.
MailFathom is an email product that synchronizes IMAP mailboxes into PostgreSQL and provides lexical and semantic search, cited question answering, local-model support, and MCP access. It is released under Apache-2.0 and implemented in C# / .NET 10.
It maintains and searches its own local mailbox copy rather than wrapping a provider API. Retrieval does not contact the upstream IMAP server or change the remote
\Seenflag, and lexical search remains available without any model provider. A fully local chat and embedding pipeline is supported through OpenAI-compatible endpoints.I placed it under Other because the current Email Solution section contains Groupware / Webmail and CLI subsections, while creating a new AI / Search & Retrieval subsection for one entry would be disproportionate.
I searched the list, open and closed issues, and open and closed pull requests for duplicates. I am the MailFathom maintainer.
