Summary

• add the local browser GUI with expandable disk mapping, preview, relationships, per-path Agent conversations, cleanup basket, Trash, and undo
• add explicit local AI configuration and opt-in metadata-only cyd trace -- <command> provenance records
• harden path identity checks, credential-path protection, loopback API authorization, response redaction, local state permissions, and partial cleanup/undo recovery
• package the GUI assets, refresh the bilingual README and release/privacy/security documentation, and add an anonymous product screenshot

Verification

• all 11 tests passed on Python 3.9 and Python 3.12
• compileall and Ruff E9/F63/F7/F82 checks passed
• wheel and sdist built successfully and passed twine check
• fresh Python 3.9 wheel install passed CLI and live GUI API smoke tests
• staged files and built distributions passed personal-path and common-secret scans

Release

After merge, tag the merge commit as v0.4.0; the release workflow will rerun the full matrix and attach the wheel and source archive.
