SnapFix - Warehouse Bug Tracker

An interactive prototype for a mobile app that streamlines bug reporting for warehouse workers.

Overview

SnapFix is designed to make bug reporting frictionless for warehouse workers who use personal cellphones. The app uses AI to automatically capture, analyze, and categorize errors with minimal effort from the user.

Key Features

  • 📸 One-Tap Screenshot Capture: Workers point their phone at their monitor to capture the error
  • 🎤 Voice-to-Text Description: Dictate the issue instead of typing - AI transcribes automatically
  • 🤖 AI-Powered Analysis: Automatically extracts:
    • Error context and system information
    • Priority level and categorization
    • Suggested troubleshooting actions
  • ⚡ Instant Team Notification: Bug reports are immediately posted to Microsoft Teams channels
  • 🎯 Minimal Friction: Designed for speed - the fastest, easiest workflow wins

Workflow

  1. Open app and tap "Report a Bug"
  2. Point camera at monitor to capture the error
  3. Describe the issue verbally
  4. AI processes the screenshot and voice input
  5. Review the auto-generated bug report
  6. Submit to notify the team via Microsoft Teams

Technical Details

This is an interactive HTML prototype that demonstrates the complete user flow. The prototype includes:

  • Realistic mobile interface (iPhone-style)
  • Clickable screens showing the full workflow
  • Animated AI processing states
  • Sample bug report with auto-generated fields

How to View

Simply open warehouse-bug-tracker.html in any modern web browser. Click through the interface to experience the full workflow.

Use Case

Designed for warehouse environments where:

  • Workers need to report software issues quickly
  • Downtime must be minimized
  • Technical detail capture is important for developers
  • Cross-team communication (warehouse staff, PMs, developers) is essential

Next Steps

This prototype demonstrates the core concept. Future development would include:

  • Native mobile app development (iOS/Android)
  • Actual camera integration
  • Real voice-to-text processing
  • Microsoft Teams API integration
  • Backend bug tracking system
  • User authentication and workstation detection

Status: Interactive Prototype Created: January 2026
