A Stardew Valley mod that adds a dedicated slot for the Pan tool. When the Pan is equipped in its slot, it can be used automatically on panning spots regardless of what you're currently holding in your hand.
- Adds a custom slot exclusively for the Pan tool
- Automatically uses the Pan on panning spots without needing to switch your active item
- Slot position is configurable via Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM)
You need to have an 2 empty slots in your inventory for the patch to work. Once you have that it will automatically appear there and in the upgradable tools list.
I tested this without my mod and, for some reason, the pan cannot be upgraded with a full inventory (even though all other tools can be upgraded under the same conditions).
PanSlotMod supports community translations! If you'd like to contribute a translation for your language, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the
i18n/folder in the mod directory - Copy
default.jsonand rename it using your locale code (e.g.,es.jsonfor Spanish,fr.jsonfor French,de.jsonfor German) - Translate the values in the file — do not modify the keys
- Submit your translation by opening a Pull Request or posting it in the Issues tab

Stardew Valley/Modsfolder - Launch the game through SMAPI
Delete the PanSlotMod folder from your Stardew Valley/Mods folder.
Open the in-game mod menu via GMCM to choose where the custom Pan slot is displayed on your inventory screen.
