- Add a new `.editorconfig` file to enforce consistent coding style across the repository. - It sets indentation, line endings, charset, trailing‑whitespace trimming, final newline, and max line length defaults, with specific overrides for Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON, Markdown, YAML, and other script files. - This ensures uniform formatting regardless of editor or IDE.
