With more than eight years of experience, I build production systems from start to finish, including backend services, integrations, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring, and operations.
Since 2018, I have worked on large and business-critical systems across the pharmaceutical industry and the Danish public sector. My experience includes projects for Novo Nordisk, The Danish Ministry of Taxation, Vurderingsportalen, Danish Business Authority, virk.dk, Mit Virk, and Digital Post.
I don't only write backend code, and I don't only manage cloud infrastructure. I work across both sides and make sure the complete system is secure, scalable, maintainable, and ready for production.

At Vurderingsportalen, I worked extensively with Clojure, building backend services, GraphQL APIs, integrations, and authentication solutions.
Working with Clojure gave me strong practical experience with functional programming and shaped the way I think about software development. Its focus on simple functions, immutable data, predictable data flows, and fewer side effects has also influenced how I write Python, TypeScript, and other languages.
My public-sector work has also included cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, monitoring, and contributing to the migration from NemID to MitID.

That can mean designing the architecture, writing the backend, provisioning the infrastructure, building the deployment pipeline, setting up monitoring, and supporting the system in production.
I care about building systems that work reliably in the real world - especially when security, compliance, data, and availability matter.
Outside of work, I build iOS and macOS applications using Swift, often taking them from the initial idea through product design, backend development, cloud infrastructure, and release.
I also experiment with local AI and LLM setups for agentic coding. This includes running models on my own hardware, testing coding agents, improving development workflows, and exploring how local models can work alongside cloud based AI tools.
These projects allow me to combine backend development, cloud engineering, application development, product thinking, and AI in complete working products.
