UXRI Module 5: When AI Reuses Research

This repository contains the synthetic Cyberdyne research corpus used in the Pressure-Test the Research Assistant exercise.

All names, products, studies, participants, findings, and organizational materials in this repository are fictional. Do not add or upload company research.

Download the corpus

Download the repository as a ZIP.

Then:

1. Unzip the downloaded folder.
2. Open the research-corpus folder.
3. Upload the eight numbered Markdown files, 01 through 08, to the AI system you are using.
4. Do not upload the ZIP file itself.
5. Do not upload START-HERE.md.
6. Paste the starter instruction from the exercise worksheet provided in class.

Keep the files as they are for the first test. You will have a chance to change one part of the system later.

What is in the corpus

The files deliberately have different roles and levels of authority:

• a current study brief
• reviewed findings
• raw research notes
• findings from different studies and user groups
• an unreviewed AI synthesis
• a product decision memo
• a research status index

Part of the exercise is noticing that searchable material is not automatically valid evidence for every question.

Exercise principle

Scale access. Don’t silently scale the claim.
