This project studies renewable energy generation over time and examines its relationship with: electricity generation , economic development (GDP and income), and energy access (individual share of energy and energy per GDP)

key Questions: Has renewable energy generation increased over time? Does higher renewable energy lead to or correlate with higher total electricity generation? Is renewable energy associated with more energy access ? Is renewable energy associated with higher GDP ? Which renewable source (solar, wind, hydro,biofuel) contributes the most to growth? Does increasing renewable energy reduce relying on non-renewable energy ?
