FitLayout Browser Extension

The FitLayout browser extension allows the current page displayed in a client browser to be submitted to a FitLayout server for storage and/or further analysis. This is an alternative to the server-side rendering provided by the rendering backend implementations.

Installation

1. Set up a FitLayoutWeb server.
2. Clone this repository into a local folder.
3. Add the extension from the local folder to your browser (see below).
4. Click the FitLayout icon in the toolbar and use the Settings tab to configure the server URL and parametres.

Adding in Chrome

Use Settings - Extensions (chrome://extensions/) - Enable the Developer mode (in the top right corner) - click Load unpacked and select the extension folder.
